My wife and I together with 2 friends decided to have lunch here as we did last time we were in Nice, but we were disappointed; it was very ordinary and expensi... read more My wife and I together with 2 friends decided to have lunch here as we did last time we were in Nice, but we were disappointed; it was very ordinary and expensive for the quality of food on offer; I had a beef stew which was ok but not good, the meat being on the fatty side and my wife had cod which hadn't been cooked properly; we would not return again, unfortunately, since it is in quite a nice part of the old town.

I had the... read more Our first meal in Nice; very pleasant sitting out under the umbrellas in the traffic free square, though you inevitably suffer with flies and pigeons. I had the cod with rice and cold ratatouille, the fish was a bit dry. Quick service efficient if slightly impersonal waiters. OK for a quick lunch but on another occasion I'd explore other nearby options first.
