Recently opened, this cosy little restaurant is tucked a few metres down a little side street off from the main Tramway that runs through the market at Liberation. Perfect for lunch after shopping at the market, it offers a simple but excellent menu of cheap but well presented and good meals. The decor is tasteful elegant, with subtle oriental undertones. What Tosca Barbieri doesn't like about La Boheme Bistro:
Tucked off the main market drag, its not an obvious location so will need to work hard to attract a clientele. Small and friendly, and quiet on the Sunday lunchtime we visited. The menu is pleasantly limited with a strong vegetarian bent and Arab influence, reasonably priced (€45 for two with wine for two courses). The main course I had (veal chop) was fine but lacking in imagination, too many under-cooked potatoes a... View all feedback.
I enjoyed this place before but more recently it has changed hands though with the same name. Bow run by a Sicilian and his Moroccan wife, the cuisine has changed style and is much more Italian, but even better value. Serving lunch and dinner too, there is a fixed menu for 9.50€ that includes a drink (glass of wine, beer, soft drink, bottle of water), an entree of cold meats or mixed salad and a choice of 8 or so main courses. This is a very handy place to have lunch after visiting Liberation market, so I go quite often.

Original dishes! A great mediterranean cuisine of quality. The preparation of the Tartar is impressive, tasteful and the vintage decoration is very attractive. Don't miss this place at the "liberation" street.
American Lady Dining Solo for Lunch.Atmosphere is Welcoming and Very Cute and Extremely Clean. The Menu is presented to the table on a small board, so items can be explained immediately tableside. My lunch of Mesculan Salad, Apricot, Raison, Cucumber, Feta, & Perfectly Pan Fried Chicken. Mustard Dressing. I will definitely Return.

The main course I had (veal chop) was fine but lacking in imagination, too many under-cooked potatoes and not enough vegetable or salad variety. It's not been open long so I hope the young couple owning, cooking and running it learn to adapt to the local market; they deserve it.
