What Marcelle Garnier dislikes about Flunch:

Lunch time: order a coffee, a pie. The employee barely raises his head and tells me, you make coffee machine.... Restaurant not very clean..... I'm sure we're at lunchtime but still. To go to the terrace, when automatic doors? View all feedback.

A very good welcome from the team for a good meal. Very good price. Thank you.

Note that the drinking fountain is out of service. It is therefore impossible to enjoy the menus with a drink included, without having to pay a supplement because the bottled drinks (except water) do not fit into the menu composition. Unfortunately also the disappearance of the sauce area: we now receive very small mini-sticks (more packaging than sauce, in fact note on the cooking of the fries: quite limited. someone had already reported it in the comments, but obviously the internal consciousness leaves to be desired. Too bad, because you don't need a university degree to prepare fries.

Not much choice, I feel that in 20 years the card has not evolved.

Very confusing set up, meal deals, etc. but the food was lovely once we got sorted and very reasonable too.

Had lunch here on a sunny midweek in October. Steak hache XL, with as much of a selection of rice, chips, haricot vert, ratatouille, etc as you like with a glass of wine and coffee for less than €10. Choice of mains such as 1/4 chicken, rump steak, cassoulet. The concept is easy, self service: pick your tray with cutlery, and drinks and desert if required; head to cash register, tell them the mains you desire, pay, you’ll get a ticket for which you go to the relevant counter and they give you the chicken, or perhaps the grill area where they’ll cook your steak, then help yourself to as much of the accompaniments as desired. There’s plenty of seating, some outside, and coffee is from a machine but it’s good. Adequate toilets on site. There’s a L’Eclerc supermarket just beside Flunch, so everything you might want is at your disposal. On this occasion, don’t think my XL was XL, seemed much smaller than before, but still good value. They also have good choice of soft drinks and beers including Belgian for good prices. Lots of free parking in the multi storey car park facing.

As Flunchs go, this one is well run and clean. I i visited in may, and found the staff friendly, and the food pretty good, tasty and fresh. It's a self service place for straight forward food at reasonable prices. For instance, the main meal is from around €7 to around €10, which can range from burger, steak hache, duck breast, paella, 1/2 chicken, entrecôte etc- you pay at the till for what you want, hand the receipt to the guy at the grill, he hands you, or cooks for you, your required meat, then you help yourself to as much potato, chips, rice, pasta and assorted veg as you wish. There are some seats outside also. There's a big car park here to accommodate the L'Eclerc hypermarket in this centre commerciale. Coffee is about a euro, and a quart pichet of wine is less than €3. If you don't have a car, the Lignes d'Azur bus no 11 goes there from Nice. In the morning it goes from near the Lycee opposite La Vielle Ville to the shopping centre but during the day only goes from near Carras bus stop which is close to airport. You can also just get coffee and or juices croissants etc from their cafe counter. Very good value.

Visited in March and thought I would not return. However whilst doing my food shopping in Carrefour I suddenly became a bit faint and needed some sustenance, Menu of the day was cheap enough 9.90 euros I think we paid for a mini buffet dessert and a coffee. So good value. No dish was especially bad or wonderful. filled a hole and we carried on. I did notice a cafe section which sold sandwiches. Maybe next time I will try there too

Not the best to be honest. Luke warm food served by really unhappy staff members. Wish I'd had a sandwich here as they looked ok. Left feeling quite ill and still hungry.
