Was AtelierMike at Envy a mag?
This is a really cool place, it has a shop in the front which sells good quality wines with a restaurant split into 4 in and L shape around it. So if you don't like where they seat you look around, you will find something to suit you! It is cleverly trendily done. Not over anything, just right in my opinion. The food was lovely, it was served up looking lovely .... the staff were charming, helpful and, wait for it, h... View all feedback.

I vote Zorba's as the best Greek restaurant in Baton Rouge! My dinner was nothing less than perfection.

I tried this place for the first time because I was in the mood for greek, but didnt want to fight through traffic to go to my normal place.

We came across a restaurant sign while wandering in the interesting streets behind the port of Nice. I needed a moment to figure out where the restaurant was, and where one entered the adjacent shop, but this modest effort was soon rewarded many times over. At €14, the two course lunch menu is well-priced, particularly in a place that gives the kind of service we enjoyed. I don't like to go on about this, but I find that the waiting staff in most Nice eateries offer little to write home about, let alone gush over on TripAdvisor. At Envy, the staff were attentive without being ever-present; just as I prefer. My seafood salad starter was fresh and nicely presented. As a main I was served mullet filets with olive tamponade, on a short stack of fries that seemed to be baked rather then deep-fried, making them soft and tasty and certainly not greasy. The fish was fresh and light, with enough oomph added by the olive and potato tastes to give the right amount of lunchtime heft. My waiter suggested a pays d'oc white wine which accompanied both course to near perfection. Envy is easy to find and easy to like. I'll be back to try the dinner menu very soon.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, which is only open in the evening on Friday and Saturday. It is based around a specialist shop, from which you buy your wine at cost. The food was excellent and local and of course the wine good value. The venue is excellent decorated with many interesting prints and features. This is just behind the old port, but in a quite location and there were just not many guests,so the atmosphere was subdued. It deserves better, for cost and quality it should be much busier and l can only think they need to find a way to market their presence. We would definately return, but it would be much nicer if it was full.
