The owners are friendly, we were on Tuesday and we ate tajine, yummy! eating is fresh, organic and often gluten-free.
I was designated by the owner of vegan gorilla as argane bio, as its place is closed and renovated. there is a small part of food and tables when they have a meal. the two workers, especially the owners, have described my vegan options. I chose a baked, something like a samosa. the crust was a golden color of curcumen and filled with a lot of sweet and chalk. it was fresh out of the many; warm, savory, flaky and tasty. the woman asked if I wanted an salat and served one with comminuted vegetables, tomato and sprouts. delicious! on a Monday there are only a few vegan options, especially with vegan gorilla for two months. argane bio is a great small place with healthy delicious food. I'm back. I think this hearty baked (peies) would be a great picnic option if they plan to spend a day with them each.
They have a few quiches, salate and a little simple. I asked which of the dishes are vegan. "All of them were the answer from the beautiful girl. So I took a few slices of quiches and salates. on the table I noticed that there were on the one of the quiches. I asked if it was vegan cheese the girl was just wondering and taking it away. vegan should not be a cute word in a health food store! frustrating.
Small load. as it is listed as a health food store, I am not sure why it came as a surprise for the other reviewer that it was more business than restaurant. found what I was looking for; the owner was very helpful and while I didn't try it, I looked good!
Argane Bio is really a health food store with a small take-out section serving approximately 6-12 vegetarian dishes. There is a tiny upstairs nook with a few tables and they tell me that lunch is served up there. I think this is a good place to go to for vitamins, take-out dishes, organic produce, and healthy flours/beans, etc. but I would not recommend going to it as a restaurant. The restaurant is nothing more than a tiny collection of tables upstairs (with a very low ceiling) serving mostly items from the take-out refrigeration case. The shop itself is small but well-stocked and located right off one of Nice's main shopping streets. This would be a good place to stop by once or twice a week for groceries if you live in town or are staying in Nice on an extended vacation. This establishment is not 100% vegetarian I saw some organic ground beef for sale in the freezer. Staff are very friendly and speak English if requested.
