Nice doesn't any major party scene other than this place and High Club on the main promenade area.What we liked about this place was it was full, crowd was global not just french and good variety of starters to appease Americans and Europeans alike. We had Hoegarden by the tap ..along with a Mexican starter dish. Service was quick, servers were hot and quick and good lively place. Must see places around here as well... View all feedback.

JC saw this place being recommended in the Nice travel guide in our room so we sought it out and wish we hadn't bothered. Our waitress was amazing & worked so hard but unfortunately the meal let this place down it was the same old generic, stodgy deep fried **** you'd get anywhere, it all tasted the same greasy Orange food with a bit of lettuce to jazz it up a bit, it was edible but i would never go back, how our why... I had lunch here and as only just after noon it was quite quiet so unlike other reviewers I did not have a bad experience. Service was good although later when it began to fill up as there were only two servers it became slower. The girl who served me had good English and was friendly and helpful.I had a BLT and fries. Should have known it would be an American portion. that is big!Good place to people watch. There is also an upstairs area with a pool table. Very Americana
Passed by this place and it was always jumping, so we thought we would stop for a drink. The service was ok but standoffish. Hard to get her attention. We ordered the mojitos and they were terrible!! And they had a pink marshmallow garnish - wtf?! It gets sticky and stains when wet. And finally there is a 15€ min to pay with card so be prepared because they tell you this when you get your bill not when you ask if they take cards! Expected more from this place and it has the potential to improve. I would recommend somewhere else till then.
Sat at the American bar and restaurant in Nice,Waited for somebody to notice us I had to ask for drink and food order to be taken.They are extremely rude to their customers just witnessed a couple on a table for four being asked to move because they had 4 people waiting.They obviously think they are something special and can treat customers this way
4 of us on a Fri evening in Nice, walking in the old town street market. The American Bar seemed packed and fun, they gave us a good high table, but the drinks and food, while nicely decorated, was not as delicious.
