Stopped in on a whim the other night. Needed a place to chill by myself and relax for a few. Bar seemed appropriate for a quiet night out. I was surprised at the food quality. I got the Philly steak and it was presented nicely on a plate on a sourdough roll. Was very good, better than the usual pub gub I've come to expect from similar places. Lion heart is a great bar with a great atmosphere and an amazing happy hour. if djs, live bands and trivia are not enough to entertain them while they are cold drafts and beautiful stiff drinks chuggen, then the 2 pool tables, arcade games, a putting green and an air hockey table should help them and their friends. the bartenders and management staff are very friendly and make everyone welcome. many thanks to the owners blake for a great local bar that I like to consider my own.
This is an excellent place! I visited for the first anniversary celebration of the current establishment, and the hospitality was delightful, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. It’s truly a gem of a tavern. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and they even have billiard tables. This isn’t just a one-time visit kind of place; it’s perfect for regular outings, especially with the live local entertainment they offer. I will definitely be returning!
Looking for a clean, cozy place, they can actually hear the person they meet or meet and a talk with new nice people. service and eating are perfect the lionheart burger is my favorite and the riders are excellent. (I usually don't eat pommes, but they are wonderful)
This place is amazing! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. I really appreciate that they have a pool table and video games, including pinball, which I spent an hour playing. They've also just added a putting green right in front of the stage, which is a great addition. The owner, Blake, is committed to keeping his guests updated on all the upcoming improvements. Most nights, he features local artists, DJs, trivia nights, and acoustic performances. Overall, this spot is definitely a hidden gem on the coast!
This restaurant is fantastic! The new owner has a true understanding of the business and has really spruced up the place. The food is delicious as well. Make sure to check it out, enjoy a drink, and definitely try their GOLDEN TEE!
