This is a small diner right in the heart of the historic district. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. Worth a visit if you are looking for good, reasonable food. View all feedback.
What Malcolm Haley doesn't like about Stage Coach Family Restaurant:
We made the mistake of not making dinner reservations. We ended up here. We had eaten lunch here in past trips. As we expected there was nothing fancy, Just good service and plain food.If you are looking for romantic evening, not the place to go.As I said, in the past, we enjoyed their lunch offerings. Six of us went for breakfast and enjoyed a reasonably priced meal. Service was quick and coffee was always on hand. There is nothing complicated about two eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and toast. So if you're looking for a reasonably priced, well cooked breakfast with quick, pleasant service then this is the place to go in Niagara on the Lake.

Quaint little restaurant, good service, decent pricing but low quality ingredients. Husband was totally disappointed in the double bacon cheeseburger that came out with two pre-made grocery store frozen quality patties. They were gummy and grizzle filled. My husband is a no frills type of dinner and for him not to finish a basic burger really tells you how low the quality really was. Do not recommend at all. My "homemade" hot roast beef sandwich was served with can gravy and sliced deli meat. It was edible and just ok. Coleslaw was vinegar based and decent. I enjoy mayo based coleslaw but that is my own preference. We would not come back but I would not deter anyone else from giving this place a chance. The service was wonderful and the prices very reasonable.for the area.
My husband and I were visiting Niagara On-The-Lake yesterday and before we got back onto the highway to go home we wanted some dinner. Most of the restaurants in the area are very expensive. We happened to find Stage Coach Family Restaurant. I'm really happy we did. The food was excellent. I had fish and chips (I would have preferred mashed potatoes instead of the fries but they ran out. Oh well not a disaster.) and my husband had the turkey with gravy. The waitress was really nice and did a great job. We will be returning the next time we visit Niagara On-The-Lake.
We breakfast good choices on the menu with reasonable prices. The server was helpful and quick to take our order and followup. I would go back for breakfast and would try lunch and dinner. I would recommend.
