One customer noted a long wait time at the drive-thru, with mistakes in their order, while another described a disturbing encounter involving the manager and police. Overall, the restaurant was seen as a typical McDonald's with consistent food quality, but occasional issues with cleanliness and customer service. Despite some positive experiences, like receiving free coffee after collecting stickers, the restaurant might benefit from improvement in certain areas to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Girls used the washroom and someone had used the floor as a toilet, was a mess. Not the restaurant's fault. Was cleaned up promptly when they pointed it out. The service, and food was typical of this chain. You hate it, but love it at the same time.
Saturday, September 5, 2015 ...my friends and I arrived at McDonalds and decided to drive use the drive-thru ......We wanted ice cream and that shouldn't take long. In front of use were two cars, a truck with a trailer, two cars in front of him..from what we could tell. We waited..we waited..we waited some more. We ordered..one ice cream cone and one McFlurry. We waited. Once we were in view of the windows for pay/pick up..we could see what was going on. Ridiculous! Someone would drive to the window, pay and then just sit and wait. And wait. And wait. Hmm. Wanting to give benefit of doubt...you think it is just a fluke something is holding up the order. This happened with each order! Instead of asking the person in the vehicle to pull over and they'd bring out the food, they just had them sit at the window at wait. Next person, same thing. Are you kidding me?! No. When we finally arrived at the window a good 15 - 20 minutes later.. The young lady did not say..Sorry for your wait. No hello. Just the total. I told her I was not happy with the long wait and why not have people pull over like other McD's do that have to wait for food. She sort of shrugged and talked not at me but as she moved around doing ??????????? Who knows..it wasn't to bring me our order. She said..well, we don't have enough people working to do that. Really. Let's see it is Friday night..Labor Day weekend.. very busy and this is the sort of service we get. She did not apologize it was just how it was........ I wasn't happy. She gave us our order..the ice cream cone. Turned and someone handed her the McFlurry. Turned to me handed me the change....and said oh, do you want some napkins? Yes, that would be nice. Poor service and someone that could care less about their job. It seemed. Too long of a wait but how do you get out of that line once you're in it..you don't.
We came in off the QEW on a busy Saturday. Access inbound is quite easy, but a divided highway barrier means when traffic is heavy, you have to go farther down the road and turn around in the nearby mall parking lot to get back to the QEW.No line at all, but the order taker seemed to have trouble understanding what we wanted. I wanted a Filet O Fish sandwich with no tartar sauce. She kept saying light tartar sauce, and I kept saying no tartar sauce. Well, it came out with less tartar sauce than usual, but still a fair amount. I scraped off what I could and have to admit it was a very good sandwich. My wife had chicken wraps which she enjoyed.Service was otherwise very quick. The restaurant was clean and tidy, fairly large and attractively designed. It was heavily decorated for the World Cup. The free WiFi was balky to connect but operated well once I was connected.
1starI wouldnt even give it a star. Visited this establishment on Tuesday Febuary 14th... (Well techanically the 15th at 1:00am) . Nonetheless there wasn't a car in sight so I pull up in the drive thru patiently wait for my order to be taken . After a couple minutes of complete silence I say "hello" .. no answer ... "anybody there? " .. still no answer. 13 minutes and some toots on the car horn later i pull up to the second window to see what exacly is going on . I can see the workers inside yet nobody is comming to greet me, so i tap on the window and after what seems to be a lifetime of waiting one of the workers opens the window .. Its him .. the man ofthe hour. Wannabe hockey player wearing a fleece jacket and black cap with red stripe. " what can i get for you" to which i responded "is there something wrong with ur speaker ?!?!??!" . And he said "No. . . . . . . . im just busy " . At this point im just totally stunned but he takes my order and is pretty snippy about it . I asked him if the straw was in the bag and he responded "ALREADY IN THERE " . Overall horrible experience especially on valentines day just trying to treat my girlfriend to a late night meal . Very rude staff will never be back .
