It’s a nice restaurant with a friendly staff. The food was average, as most of my party felt their dishes were either somewhat dry or lacked flavor. I tried the vegan bean burger, which was decent, but the fries were dry. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and eager to ensure we had an enjoyable evening. View all feedback.

Went for lunch. Had the delicious chowder. Hubby had good old fish n chips which he said were tasty. Attentive staff. Decent menu. Hard to chose what to eat, in a good way.

This was my first time here after hearing about it for years. And everyone was right. The food is great. I was only slightly annoyed by the limited fixed menu. But that's my issue. I would like a better beer selection, but I have that issue almost every where. Would definitely recommend.
Great service, food fab. I will be back. Management our obviously running this like a family concern. 5 stars. Drink at the rice's pub next door first? Can't go wrong?
