Guests rave about the delightful variety of homemade dishes, including flavorful soups and unique pastries, highlighting a commitment to fresh, local ingredients. The café’s friendly staff enhance the warm environment, although some have noted a less-than-friendly experience at the farm shop. While some visitors encountered inflexible service regarding menu changes, the overall sentiment remains positive, celebrating the café as a hidden gem worth the journey for its inviting ambiance and satisfying meals.
The restaurant offers a delightful variety of cakes and savoury items on weekday mornings. They also have parking available, and the farm shop has a great selection of fresh vegetables and frozen meats.
Awesome food and fabulous teas with friendly service. What more could you want. CAfe garden is delightful and check out the shop too
The best cinnamon buns around. The other food looks great too. Brilliant service and really good coffee.
I have seen some negative reviews of the farm shop, but I have only visited the café, which is run by different people. We absolutely adore this cozy spot. It may be a bit off the beaten path, but it's certainly worth the visit. The staff here are striving to offer something unique and special, and for the most part, they have succeeded. If you're looking to stray away from the typical fries and chips or are trying to eat healthier after the holiday season, this café is a rare find. During my visit, I enjoyed a delightful pumpkin, ginger coconut soup with sourdough bread, while my companion tried the walnut and mushroom roll. Many vegan options can often be disappointing, but the ones here did not disappoint – the walnut and mushroom roll was flavorful and well-made. The soup was delicious as well. The café also offers good coffee and excellent service.
My wife and I had a fantastic two-night stay at this charming hidden gem. The host was very helpful and provided us with some great recommendations on places to visit. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with homemade muffins, cheese, and bacon pastries. We also stopped by the shop next door to stock up on supplies for the next few days. The wheaten bread was tasty and the bacon was incredible. The rooms were clean with excellent showers, and there was a wonderful selection of reading material in the cozy sitting room downstairs.
