What Americo Bauch dislikes about Silverbean:
Here, I only had coffee, a muffin and banana bread.Coffee is a bit cheaper then the nearby cafes, and the banana bread and blueberries muffin I had were good. The cafe itself is relaxed, small, and informal. It is good for a chat with friends. View all feedback.

This restaurant is a fascinating spot with a fantastic atmosphere and attentive staff. The food is exceptional, always beautifully prepared and delicious. I adore the vintage Steampunk ambiance and the cleverly converted sewing machine tables. The coffee is consistently good every time.
Fantastic café! The food for breakfast and lunch is delicious and available all day. The coffee is excellent too. The staff are very friendly. The food is fresh and high quality. The value for the price is great. I love this place and highly recommend it!

Wow what a cute little find I made! I had some time to kill before getting my haircut, so I popped into Silverbean as it was across the road.
This place is really nice. The food is so good and fresh. The coffee tastes good and it's even cheaper than the rest of Newtown. Great quality food and drinks. Staff is always friendly. I really recommend this café. Just try yourself :)
Just rolled into town after traveling for over 30 hours and needed to find coffeeLuckily that is not hard in Sydney.
My husband and I visited mid morning mid week for breakfast, he had the full breakfast and I had the vegetarian. While waiting used the bathroom out the back of the old building which was tucked away and really forgotten about, it hadn't looked like it had been cleaned for some time. If you are sitting down the front of the shop has a fair bit of road noise but there is further seating around the kitchen area at the back which is used by the locals and recommend. The coffee came out really fast as did water that wasn't asked for but nice and should be done by all restaurants these days. We ordered straight away as we had already checked the menu out and needed to get back to work. The food took a long while to come out but was well worth the wait. The chef could be seen cooking and clearly had a lot of pride in his product. Absolutely beautiful and great quality. Highly recommended just avoid the toilet and have a bit of time to wait.
