Sawyers Arms Tavern

Always a good meal. Nothing too fancy but tastey food at a reasonable price in a pleasant environment. Good choice of beer and wine and good service.

Well how much better can you get at the Sawers Arms Tavern since the refurbishment, service good,food of a good quality along with the wine. Peter the host certainly makes it worth going to the Sawers Arms

This pub has an excellent restaraunt serving very good food in pleasant surroundings. For a thursday night i was surprised by the patronage so would suggest booking. The service was very good. The food was excelent and very good quantity.

From the moment that we walked in this hotel had a friendly, welcoming aura to it. The table service was excellent, the wine list well chosen, and more than adequate, and the food was of a really good standard and presentation. Prices were suitable for the quality, and the overall package was very good.

I had an enjoyable night at Sawyers Arms. The food was lovely. Enjoyed the main more than the dessert but I'm more of a savoury person. We had a table by the open fire and it was very cosy
