Marygold's On Main - Newtown

Went with some friends for Moms night out and enjoyed dinner and ladies night. Food is yummy and so are the drinks. Not too loud so we were able to all have a conversation while eating and laughed all night. I have also been here for brunch which was wonderful.

Had the scallops and squash and the short ribs. Wow was this meal delicious. Service was spot on. Restaurant was mostly full too. It's still a little pricey or we would be back more often.

Love the redesigned dining room with the booths in both corners! Our high top was soooo cozy near the bar seats super comfy). We were so happy to see the Dining room was packed — they were short-staffed and still handled everything superbly. Food, drinks...all delish the endive salad, crab app and Pierogis were esp amazing. We topped it off with a drink by the fireplace in the sitting room. Just love Marygolds' vibe.

We held the brunch after our wedding here and everything went super smoothly. Lauren and Christy were fantastic in helping us coordinate everything and the event itself went over perfectly! The food was also delicious and was more than enough for the 50ish people that attended.

Place is too dark and my wife ordered the most expensive item on the menu which came out piping hot, while my meal was luke warm. Honestly i felt like my food suffered because it wasnt as pricey as her's.
