Chinese Gardens - NEWTON

We visited a small birthday party on Thursday night. We ordered the deluxe banquet. Each dish was both delicious and well presented. There were more than enough food for us and we really overeat! Excellent value for the moderate price. The table... service was excellent, attentive, without being intrusive, friendly and very efficient. There was a relaxed casual atmosphere and the fact that the restaurant was less than half full meant that it was so easy to chat about an exceptionally good meal. Thank you for such a great birthday dinner experience.

I live on site in the Chinese garden restaurant and in an attempt to find a delicious Asian Takeaway restaurant, I tried this place. While I can't complain to the service and how I could take it with my allergies, the food was just okay. With a strong Hankering for Hokkien Noodles I was really, very excited to stay stuck in the meal. Unfortunately, it was quite bland and tasteless. I had to add sweet chilli/soya to add any kind of taste and it's only luck that we had in the closet! Spring rolls and eschant chicken were also ok. Nothing but conservative flavors.

We ordered a ride this week after a friend's recommendation. The food with very tasty and fresh, but unfortunately was very low on meat, hardly anything, left us hungry, nice taste but.

Mom! Food is hot, fast and delicious! Yeah, it's just Chinese, but you feel like it's just delicious! Very happy for the price

We had dinner at Chinese Gardens restaurant last week, the small function room had a party of people in it discussing wines.....we heard the whole thing.....both boring annoying. they don't serve australian wines by the glass only if you buy a whole bottle! the...only wine they had on offer in the glass was NZ wines.....very unhappy! we have wonderful wine so why promote NZ wine. food was average, I had sizzling Mongolian steak and it was chewy. the crispy skin chicken was okay, but no flavour. wouldn't go again
