Bonsai Sushi - NEWTON

I have visited this restaurant many times, as my daughter is a big fan of the bubble tea here. She always orders the same thing: Mango bubble tea, without ice cream and with an extra pump of syrup. It may seem strange to some, but she loves it and always insists on having it prepared that way here. However, today we encountered a rude and aggressive man who refused to make it according to her preferences. I tried to explain that we are willing to pay extra for the additional syrup, as we always do, but he just brushed us off, claiming that is not how they make it and that he, as the owner, has the final say. Despite being loyal customers who frequent his establishment often, he was unwilling to accommodate our request. It is perplexing to me that he would not prioritize customer satisfaction. Perhaps as the owner, he should heed the feedback of his patrons and refrain from directly interacting with customers if he lacks the ability to communicate effectively. It seems unlikely that we will be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I only tried the food from this restaurant once, and it was a complete disaster. I ordered it to go, and by the time I got back to my car, it was too late to go back and complain. I was really disappointed. How do they expect to get away with serving such terrible food?

This restaurant is a cozy spot to enjoy some sushi. We tried a vegetarian spring roll, satay chicken skewers, and a variety of sushi rolls including Teriyaki chicken, shrimp, tuna, and omelette. Everything was tasty and freshly prepared. The sushi rolls were priced at around $2.50 each. The service was polite and attentive. Outdoor seating is available at the café.
