The food was fantastic! We tried the backyard burger, the farro harvest bowl, and the classic Caesar salad, all of which were excellent. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but given the current economy and the inflated prices at many restaurants, it felt both expected and reasonable. What User doesn't like about Union Street:
The prices were higher than I anticipated. The beer was $10, which I found a bit steep, but the overall design of the place is quite appealing. Most items on the menu are in the mid to high $20 range. View all feedback.
Patio experience was mediocre (that was in the oktober, maybe it's better in the summer?) that eating was average. the service was very slow in the terrace and we didn't care about the maus running on the deck, not about a pleasant view while we try to eat!
It was not a good experience. The worst thing is that I saw a mouse on the seats and I am lucky that it was while we were paying. Never again.
We were seated downstairs which was quiet. The only problem for me personally was that the table was up on a ledge. When leaving the table I forgot the ledge, but managed to avoid falling on the floor and hurting myself sic).
Our appetizer order was forgotten and the server never checked back on us. Our meals came. She never checked on us. We were most of the way done and we hadn't even seen her, so finally my husband stood up and walked to the other side of the dinning room to ask her about it! It was pretty poor.
We had a great visit! Our service was excellent and the food was very good.
