The Hen And Egg - Newton

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday, January 27, after hearing several positive recommendations. I'm so glad I went and will definitely be returning! I sat at the counter and met a lovely woman named Julie Huitt, who is a regular there. Before she left, we exchanged phone numbers, and I'm sure we'll run into each other again, probably at The Hen Egg. I enjoyed chatting with the staff and the owner, who personally delivered our food. There were so many tempting options on the menu that I've found my new go-to for breakfast and lunch. I ordered the French toast filled with Nutella and bananas, and it was absolutely delicious! I also got a caramel almond milk loaf. The variety of food and drinks is impressive, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. You never know when you might make a new friend!

My family and I dine here as frequently as we can. The food is incredibly tasty, and the staff are both professional and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend it!

Hen and Egg is incredible! We dine there at least once a week. Their breakfast menu is extensive, and the lunch menu is fantastic. There's so much to choose from!

Hen and Egg is the best restaurant in Newton and I lived here for 34 years. Lunch is like a Baptist-covered dish dinner. There are so many great items to choose that you are hard pressed to eat the same meal twice. Very cheap and the portions are plentiful. My family LOVES this restaurant. I will miss the Hen and Egg when the school goes back (our hours will not be a Coinsid).

Service was friendly. My first time there. My breakfast was a skillet dish with potatoes, tomatoes, spinach and avocado with eggs on top. Delicious!
