This review is for the Newton Center outlet. My craving for a good thin crust pizza was satisfied by the outstanding pizza from this lay back casual takeout restaurant. The staff was very friendly and recommended their best pizza. I ordered the Pesto Splash(pesto sauce, mozzarella, diced tomatoes) with the optional cauliflower crust. What FleetfootTraveler doesn't like about Sweet Tomatoes:
It was $29 for a two-topping calzone! The calzones aren't larger than anywhere else, and aside from a thin crust, I didn't find anything all that appealing/different on the pies here. I'd avoid this for another pizza place based on cost alone. View all feedback.
Excellent pizza and great staff. Often you see staff members unwilling or unable to help. This was such a treat as a staff member went out of her way to accommodate an offhand comment my son made. Great food, great staff. Atmosphere is excellent also, just small, only 2 tables. Kid-friendliness: Staff was very kind to my son.
Stingy with the salami (2 slices), and they forgot to include provolone. A rip-off for a $14 sandwich.
Passed by here so many times, finally decided to give it a try. We ordered take out. The service was friendly and quick. Not huge inside but have few seatings. No regrets! Only regret was not taking a picture before devouring it in the car. We got a large sweet tomatoe pie and added pepperoni. They cut it into 10 slices and the pie was huge. I normally don't like thin crusts because they can be too thin and extra crunchy. But theirs is perfect. Nice light crunch and can still taste the dough part. Not overly saucy as they have fresh tomatoes that gives it the extra flavor and texture unlike others where the marinara sauce is dripping as you bite into it. Did not feel heavy or stuffed after eating 4 slices. Will be back to try their specialty pies.
This past Sunday was the first time I went there, I had a medium pizza it was so good, hot and fresh. They were very nice. I recommend this place 100

The Newton Center outlet is more of a take-out than a dine-in place with only 2 small tables inside and a small one outside if weather permits. Of course, pizza fresh from the oven would be the best. Enjoy. I love this place.
