Contribute FeedbackJP Licks has garnered a local following for its array of ice cream flavors, including recently introduced coconut-based options. However, customers have faced mixed experiences regarding vegan labeling, leading some to question staff knowledge. While the atmosphere is lively, with quick service despite lines, some find the portion sizes underwhelming for the price. Customer service has also drawn criticism, particularly regarding special orders like ice cream cakes. On a positive note, the shop's vegan offerings, including unique flavors, are a highlight for many. Overall, this popular spot remains a go-to for locals, with an atmosphere full of charm.
I always love their vegan selection! one of my favorites was the hemp milk drip butter. also happy they always have sorbet on the hand. unfortunately they just keep a taste for a month, so if they miss it, they miss it. really want to try their milk mint chip so hope they still have it!
Jp licks has recently introduced some coconut-based ice creams. the first time I was there, I asked the employee to confirm that they were vegan, and he said they were not. so I left. the next time I was there, I asked myself again and was told that they were. (after trying to try some, I can confirm that they were because if they didn't have a physical reaction it was a couple of months ago, I don't remember the taste I had, but I remember that it was quite delicious and I would eat their vegan ice cream in the future again. Of course, if I have wheels, I will still drive to fomu in allston because they are all vegan and they have a tonne amazing aromas.

The food is delicious at this restaurant, though it's small and a little more expensive. The ice cream is absolutely incredible.
We walked in about 8pm and there was still a line this place is popular! The staff was hustling and the line moved quickly. I ordered a small (one scoop), and in most places they really mound it up but here it was just that...one scoop. A pretty flat and unimpressive serving, and my daughter's sorbet was the same. Expensive for the price, and not all that tasty. I'll probably look elsewhere.
