Wonderful experience recently at Chef Ronsky’s. He agreed on relatively short notice to open up his kitchen one night to host a private party for 4 to celebrate my daughter’s engagement earlier in the day. He prepared an incredible 5-course meal, including a black truffle risotto and red wine braised short ribs, with wine pairings that absolutely blew us away. The service was impeccable, too. Basically it was like sitting at your own private chef’s table and having the restaurant and chef to yourself for the night. What a romantic, fun, enjoyable and delicious meal! Ron helped make it a special day and night that my daughter and future son-in-law will always remember and never forget. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an intimate setting and amazing food.
A treasure. Tiny place, great service. Food was delicious and every morsel delicious. Had mussel appetizer. Yummy. Bread was out of this world and main course of branzino melted in our mouths. Wines were well represented by wine expert and great glasses of new treats to try from Italy. Cannot wait to go back!
After several fine meals at Chef Ronsky's, last Sunday we had a wonderful takeaway Mother's Day dinner. We started with tangy onion foccacia, followed by a four cheese lasagna, that was remarkably light, and an earthy braised short rib dish with rice and carrots. This was accompanied by a mixed salad, which was fresh but uninteresting. Chef Ronsky's bread pudding is the best dessert, even for someone like myself who would not consider bread pudding for dessert anywhere else a real custard pudding.
Hidden gem for sure. Go back often! I especially like the new format. Awesome service and wine list. Chef does an amazing job with the quality and variety of the menu...which makes it fun because we go often!
Fabulous! All good is made on premise. The appetizers were light, fresh. The second course pasta was hand made with a delectable pesto, basil sauce. The scallops were tender and melted in your mouth.
