The reviews for this place seemed promising, but the dinner was below average. Don't get me wrong, it was okay, but when I go out for dinner, I expect a place that can cook better than me. There were many appetizers available, but the main course seemed to be reheated rather than freshly prepared. We were never offered dessert or coffee after dinner. I took my wife to this restaurant to celebrate her new job. It was our first time there and the menu looked great. The restaurant was very nice and we had reservations for 6pm. We were seated quickly in a large room with a bar and a cool fireplace. We were provided with 4 pieces of delicious bruschetta and heated bread and butter. They had a nice selection of wines and my wife chose a Chianti in the $21-$27 range. She ordered stuffed mushrooms, which she enjoyed, although I found them a little cold. I ordered angel hair pasta with shrimp, clams, and tomatoes in a white wine sauce. The clams were small and one didn't open, but the shrimp were large and tasty. I found the meal to be bland and lacking in flavor. My wife ordered Chicken Francaise with angel hair pasta and broccoli rabe, which she enjoyed. Our server was excellent, despite being busy with other tables. Overall, I was disappointed with my meal and not sure if I would give the restaurant another try.
My brother recently had his wedding rehearsal dinner at Casa Bellisima. Our experience was fantastic! The food was excellent and the service from our waitress was even better!
The food is very good, so is the atmosphere. Very relaxing...they do not rush you out the door.
