What Sandy Fleming doesn't like about Family Farm:
Was told had to wait with empty tables while they seat others family that came in with me.have supported them for years but will not no more! I do not recommend this place unless you know them physically. Sad... View all feedback.
We needed a quick lunch while on the last leg of our vacation, and Google Maps showed this location. So we decided to try them out. What a happy find! This is an old-style restaurant attached to the Family Farm Motel. We were there on a sunday, when it seems they regularly get swamped by both motel guests and the local after-church crowd. The wait staff was quite apologetic about how the service was slow since the kitchen was slammed--but I didn't find the wait time at all long. We lunched on their hamburgers and fries. Excellent, and at a very reasonable price. How do they turn a profit selling this good food for so little? If we're ever driving through Tennessee I-40 again, we will definitely remember this spot.

We stopped because it was the only food we had seen in a long time and we are so happy we did. The servers were fantastic. They kept the drinks full and were very helpful. The food was wonderful. We seemed like the only people in there who were not locals and to me that says a lot. Locals know the best Mom and Pop restaurants to eat at, in my opinion. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The kids who were with us all loved the old games and it kept them busy the whole time we were there. The only reason I did not give a five star is because the bathroom (which I do not believe is technically their restrooms) was disgusting. To get to the restrooms you need to go into the old hotel that the restaurant is attached to. So, I believe it is actually their restroom but since it is shared by the restaurant it is worth noting. I would hope the restaurant owners would point out the conditions to the hotel and get them to keep it a little cleaner and in better repair. It was very dark and dirty. The toilets barely wanted to flush. It was just gross.
I wasn't real hungry, it was breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy and some bacon, it was very good, hit the spot. ?
The food was good, the waitress was good and it was very
