The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant's menu and wine selection have been reduced due to the pandemic. They are currently open for dine-in with six tables typically seating groups of two. Located on the bustling Newport Blvd, it was not too crowded at 7:30 PM on a Saturday night. We will definitely be returning. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pescadou Bistro:
this place is always beautiful and tops our favorite list. we thought it was more expensive on nye than reasonable. but with inflation it is not really a surprise. we had a nice evening! View all feedback.
Fabulous trout almandine, coq au vin, cream of mushroom soup, escargot, creme brí»lée, and homemade baguettes. Pescadou is a hidden treasure!
Cute little French place. So excited to see rabbit on the menu and it was an amazing dish! The escargot were sandy though, and the cassoulet was much too fatty, even for a traditionally fatty dish. They had Lilet and sold us the whole bottle for a reasonable price. Service is friendly and personable. Place feels like a typical french small-town bistro, a little dark and a great location to celebrate a special occasion.
We may have found the French restaurant we've been looking for since we moved here from New York. Excellent preparation, great tastes, reasonable prices. The only negative in my mind is related to ambience, that being that our table was at the front window and the noise from Newport Blvd traffic was occasionally disconcerting can't imagine how it would be sitting outside on the patio in front.
Very nice French restaurant. We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent.Food: 5/5
This restaurant has absolutely delicious food. There’s no bad dish. Very cute and quaint. My husband and I love this place!
