Nodoh Brand - Newport Beach

Delicious vegan cheese sticks with tangy marinara sauce. It's a pop-up stand and I try to go to most of their events in OC. So yummy

Had these at the vegan faire in Anaheim over the weekend and they were so good.

Stumbled upon Nodoh Brand at a vegan festival and was pleasantly surprised. I was given the opportunity to try the nozzarella sticks. Very cleaver naming the mozzarella sticks with and n since they are not dairy cheese. The cheesy sticks are made with plant-based cheese and fried. I have to say I was surprised to finally find dairy-free cheese sticks and was not sure what to expect. I was definitely skeptical... I used to be a huge mozzarella stick fan until trying to cut down on dairy and go plant-based. The nozzarella sticks are good. I am not going to lie to you and tell you they are as good as the real deal- because they are not even close. BUT this is progress in the right direction and if I was dyinggg for a cheese stick these might be a decent substitute. I love the cruelty-free, dairy-free nozzarella option. So I guess you could say I 'm a Nozz fan now! If you haven 't eaten real cheese in a while then your taste-buds might be easily fooled. But if you usually eat normal cow based milk then you will be able to taste the difference. Just keep in mind it is a healthier alternative.

I've had the opportunity to sample their food at several vegan pop-up events, and I must say, their mozzarella sticks are fantastic! For a while, they offered chickpea-flavored ones that were incredible, but it seems there was an issue and I haven't seen those in a while. If you get the chance, definitely give them a try!

I absolutely love their mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce! It's quite difficult to find high-quality vegan mozzarella sticks, so definitely give them a try—you won't regret it!
