Contribute FeedbackThe Mayor's Table in Newport offers a mixed dining experience. While some guests were disappointed by the small portions, high prices, and subpar dessert options, others praised the inviting atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious entrees. Highlights included the firepit outside, great cocktails, and flavorful dishes like the filet and short rib hash. Despite some minor mishaps with orders, the staff were quick to rectify any issues. While parking may be expensive without validation, the overall consensus seems to be that The Mayor's Table is a good dining option in Newport, whether for a special occasion or just enjoying a nice meal with friends.
Good food, Caroline the hostess is wonderful and an asset to the restaurant! Food is very good, menu is a bit limited but high quantity.
Wow the food was fresh (local), tasty and the overall ambiance was brilliant. Rick was our server and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with all the great spots to enjoy around the area. Great service, great food, great experience.
My family and I ate here for breakfast while staying at the hotel. The avocado toast and summer yogurt were both excellent. The pancakes looked amazing but we're less flavorful than I expected. Service was friendly, but slow considering there were only a few other patrons when we were there. The ambiance is great- lovely decor including photos of old mayors. The hotel is built on the site of the old city hall and parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They have a basic kid menu, which is always appreciated as it makes it more affordable!
Thank you to Mark and everyone else. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful.Food: 5/5
Amazing food with spectacular service! We couldn’t have asked for more. Chef Erik really catered to our needs and made sure we got exactly what we were looking for, 10/10. Devine!
