Islands Newport Beach

I can see why Islands is closing stores. Saturday night 7:45 and it's empty. Food quality has gone down hill. Ordered the Big Wave burger with cheese Medium/Well, center was still Raw! Ewww! French Frys had so much salt they became unedible. I let the server know but it was her first time back at the table since food delivery. Wife had the Bluenomi burger Medium/Well same thing, raw in the middle. And can I just say 1350 calories! Time to look at leaner healthy meat. Get with the times or you will be gone. Might want to look up sometime. The dust on all the stuff hanging from the ceiling is gross. Was once one of my favorite Burger places but this have been my last time in an Islands. Sorry. I do not put this place anywhere near a high score on my list.

Lovely servers and staff, food is decent, location is beautiful and clean and a lively atmosphere.

Too loud, impersonal, waiter (Ethan) bordered disrespectful

Service was superb and of course the chhese fries are the best along with the Maui burger...YUM

Pub food for the win. We had nachos, chicken strips and cocktails while watching football. The blue man drink was lovely company. He didn't say much. Liquid on the brain. Our server, Emily, was great. Thank you. Lively and fun sports bar vibe.
