Acai Republic - Newport Beach

Açaí is always great at Açaí Republic. We signed up with our phone number, and the screen advertised a 10% Father's Day discount, but the employee at this location wouldn’t honor it. She insisted we needed to order through the app. It was frustrating to have to go through that process when we were right in front of her. This was our first and last visit to this place.

The açaí here is delicious and truly authentic, bringing back fond memories of my hometown. I also love that they offer pães de queijo and coxinhas!

I had a wonderful experience! I brought my family along, and they all adored the acai. We also sampled the empanadas, which were delicious! The staff were very friendly and attentive too.

I usually don't leave negative reviews, but as a Brazilian, I know a good açaí when I taste one, and this one is definitely not authentic. It doesn't have the true açaí flavor. The service is good and the prices are reasonable, but when you go there, you'll be disappointed and won't be getting real açaí.

I visited this restaurant as soon as it opened on a weekday, and there was no line, so the service was extremely quick. I tried the popular strawberry banana bowl, and it was absolutely delicious.
