I am writing this in the restaurant as there is plenty of time for my review. I came in for a 'good cup of coffee '. I am sitting at the counter even though my feet are dangling uncomfortably. They are busy, but I ordered 2 eggs and an English muffin. I just got it after an hour. It is the first time anyone smiled at me. The coffee is so-so. Eh, live and learn. View all feedback.

I go there almost every Saturday morning with my daughter. We love the food and service personnel.
Nice little breakfast/brunch place. Table turnover was slow and front of house wasn't communicative. California Benedict was under-cooked, over hollandaise'd, without advertised Chipotle, and used packaged tasting guac (i.e. not house made). Pancakes were good and server was friendly.
The Hungry Monkey is a reliable brunch spot with good-sized portions. The food arrived quickly as it wasn't busy during my visit. However, I was confused by how bland the syrup for the pancakes was. I'm not sure if this is normal, but just a heads up.
Had a nice practice here, and some gluten-free options for my wife 9–20
