Our waitress and wait staff was excellent, she served 8 of us. open Kichen concept. I watched the chef and helper, both were on the ball. The food was fresh, hot and excellent. We drove all the way from Stowe VT, second time visiting. I would recommend. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lago Trattoria:
OMG! Waited over an hour for entrees on a Saturday night when of the restaurant was empty; we cook to order was their excuse. Waitress ignored us and was RUDE when we communicated our frustrations. We walked out without pay our alcohol bill and you would have thought we were walking away from a dinner tab. The ownerchief chased out into the streets of Newport dropping F bombs! The restaurant was a bit expensive but still enjoyable. I dined alone with a glass of wine and spent $70 on my meal and tip. The service exceeded my expectations. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and atmosphere a 5. This was a dinner experience worth the price range of $50-100 per person.

Nice Italian restaurant with creative offerings including wild boar and duck. They also serve a vegan ravioli, which was tasty. Drinks are great! They work hard to provide a good meal, but we found it was just short of excellent, but can't quantify why. Vegetarian options: They have a good vegan ravioli, which is a bonus in this town as not many places have any offerings for vegans. A gnocci dish looked vegetarian too. Service: Dine in
