We did have a rather loud party of about 10-12 people seated next to us. Thankfully, they brought a lot of laughter, even though their exuberance was quite overwhelming. Interestingly, they went quiet the moment the food arrived! After they left, the owner came over to apologize for the noise, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Great for the wine, small plates and the view! Was reasonably priced too we enjoyed the salads and Caymus Wine!
We shared the mussels as an appetizer. It was delicious and ask for extra bread to dip in the broth. The fluke, ravioli and monkfish were fresh and prepared with savory vegetables. Our server was very attentive and she convinced us to try the goat cheese cake which was an excellent ending to a delightful meal.

Overall we are big fans of Fluke. But the menu is getting a bit tired and they would really benefit from occasionally changing it or adding some specials. Also the wine list is not user friendly. Wines should be listed by grape. Also wish they offered more California Chardonnay choices. But as far as food in Newport, it is still one of our favorites.
Amazing window seat overlooking Bannisters Wharf. Excellent service. Food was outstanding. 5 stars all day long.
