Brio Italian Grille - Newport

The hostess was talking on the phone to someone else when checking us in The restaurant then indicated we were a no-show. The service was slower than normal and two of our entrees were not correct. The food overall was good, but this was not their best night. We've always had good experiences in the past.

We are from Ohio and met our Northern Kentucky friends at Brio's. We we given great seats, and had very good service. The food was wonderful. We also found the lunch menu just right for portion size and value. It was great fun renewing our friendship, and look forward to more meals at Brio's.

Apparently, the air conditioning was not working, which we did not know and once we got there and it felt hot in there they really didn't offer solution such as did you want to reschedule so for most of the time it was uncomfortable 

Service from Will was top notch, ways attentive and prompt. Food served hot with great flavor, extra sauce as ordered. Air conditioning out on half the restaurant, which impacted overall comfort in the bar area. Other than that, it was a superb experience.

Pork chops were dry with no seasoning. Waiter was terrible. ****** Mary was worst we've ever had. It was hot and noisy. I had a birthday coupon for $20 off and one for a free dessert. After serving me the dessert which was terrible) he said I couldn't use the free dessert coupon with the $20 off a $49 meal. Nowhere on dessert coupon did it say that. Wouldn't have ordered it if I knew. I used to love Brios and always bragged about the pork chops $35 by the way). Now I don't think I'll ever go back.
