What Bradford Ober doesn't like about Bayscapes Gallery Coffeehouse:
It's the same shop as Surf Town, they just kept the old name and killed all the plants. Same bad coffee, prices and ownership. The fact that both coffee places on the water are tied to such terrible muck is a major bummer. At least Nye has Ultralife. View all feedback.
Went in for a double shot of espresso.. ended with an espresso martini. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, SOOO GOOD!! We were told it was a new menu item originally fresh brewed espresso shaken with ice and vodka, we requested whiskey and it did not disappoint. Thanks for the great drinks! Also we loved the more private sun room overlooking the popular sea lion dock ??
They have good lavender chai tea here. The view was great! You got to see the sea lions from the coffee shop.

Delicious coffee drinks with a spectacular Newport Bay view. Listen to sea lions and watch the boats come and go in the Bay. Great views! Plenty of gifts to bring home in the gift shop.
Best kept secret for coffee with a view. They have a wonderful covered and open area to view the water and sea life with a delicious coffee or tea.
