The Pot Cafe - Newport

I cant praise this place enough, we popped in on a whim as we were bored of the usual generic lunch choices and fancied warm, home cooked food. The Pot didnt dissapoint !! Home made leek and potato soup for all of my family and a fresh brown roll, AMAZING !! The staff were helpful, patient and great fun. I cant say enough good, a gem in the Newport Arcade and a super Independent Cafe, please support these guys so we dont lose them. Will see you soon.

Excellent service and food. The lady running the cafe, was friendly and helpful. It was very clean. Food was very good, we had breakfast here and was very good value for money.

Very rude staff.very slow waiting time for food poor.dont understand how they have 5 star reviews. We certainly didn't experience this.will not becgoing back.

We were looking for a breakfast while we were waiting to go to an appointment in Newport we thought we’d found a lovely place to eat so we went in and ordered hot drinks were brought promptly then the wait began at least 30 minutes we were running out of time people who’d came in after us were getting there food) so we asked if ours was gonna be much longer as we were running out of time we were told there was a futher wait so we decided to cancel the order as we we’re paying I mentioned this to the lady she said I was wrong and as we were leaving the lady that was cooking the food sarcastically shout bye then absolutely shocking customer service was very disappointed with our visit
