Great Wall - Newport

The food was overall quite good, but the chips were recently dried out, as if they had been reheated. During my last visit, my roasted grains were burnt. Additionally, the chicken curry had an odd, unpleasant taste. Unfortunately, most of the food ended up being thrown away.

I ordered from here for the first time tonight, and I was really impressed! The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It might sound a bit unusual, but the egg on top of the chow mein was perfectly runny, which I loved. I've had that dish before, but never with such a perfectly casual egg. I would rate it a 10/10!

I had a delivery from here last night to Newport, and I must say that the hunan and pork fried rice was absolutely amazing—packed with meat and the curry sauce was delicious. I would definitely give it a 5-star rating, but the delivery took longer than expected and the chips were a bit cold. Nevertheless, I would definitely order from here again!

Been ordering from here for a few years now, and it's fair to say that I haven't been disappointed. Very clean takeaway. Very welcoming staff. And the best of all amazing food. I refuse to go to any other chinese. Favourite meal is beef and pineapple, with chow mein. 10/10.
