Golden Garden - Newport

After a visit in the royal gwent hospital. immediately impressed by the choice and chatting informative service of the young lady on the switch. chose to take a selection from 'noodle pots' to home and can easily say that this was one of the best takeaways I had in the old. great presentation in the 'boxen' beautiful fresh veg and really clean unmistakable aromas really hit the place. I will definitely try other dishes on the menu again and ride for one thing about this experience.

I have advised that I have 20£, the delivery guy has no change when he arrived Order taker said they will send the guy back. It didn’t happen. Rang again and said I will get credit for the next order. They denied my credit. Will not order again.

I p,aced an order at 7:20pm and was told it would be 50 minutes to an hour for delivery. When it hadn’t arrived after an hour and a half I rang and was told that it was on its way and would be with us soon. It wasn’t, and I rang again at 9:30. No apology, no sorry, simply, ‘it’s on its way. We’re busy!’ I decided to cancel and cook for my wife and myself, the evening ruined. The food arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes after my order, the delivery driver apologetic, and he spoke to the ‘restaurant ‘ and then left. Shocking, uncaring and simply the worst takeaway food non experience. Why on earth does GOLDEN GARDEN bother. We won’t again. Awful

Had food from here last night. Me and my partner have been very unwell ever since. Looked up the hygiene rating of only 3. Do not recommend this place at all.

Awful food was really ill all night after consuming a meal from here and on top of this the delivery driver was extremely rude. Wont be ordering again.
