I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Tom for putting on another fantastic show for the kids. I'm always amazed by how this pub prioritizes children, even though most of the customers are adults. I visited on Friday and today, and both experiences were wonderful. The young staff provided excellent service as always. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for any occasion. Great job, Tom and team—keep it up!

Popped in for a meal while in Newport to waste an hour while waiting for someone. The pub was clean and complying with Covid regulations that were in place at the time. Staff were welcoming. We opted for the carvery. Good value for money the stuffing wasn't to my taste but everything else was tasty.

I called first to check the table available and I was told to arrive only, but at busy days it is best to book, very helpful and friendly on the phone. beautiful greeting at the arrival. simple process to order and pay. eating was good and incredibly valuable. this place had a beautiful atmosphere and this was promoted by the extremely attentive, happy staff. big bonus. they had EV charging stations, brilliant.

The food was warm, was greeted with a smile and welcome. eating is not too expensive and also the drinks, I had the curry that was so filled and had a nice spicy to him. we also liked the sauces, salts and paprika etc. all on the table were ready as most places they run around to look for salt or ketchup what I and my partner both said was nice that it all on our table for once. total, nice experience, nice eating, great customer service and clean fast work environment

Wonderful choice of menu. I am a vegetarian and usually we are limited for choice, but at your bistro the choice is excellent. It is an excellent bar with staff that are very helpful. Both starters and deserts also have a variety of dishes that will suit all tastes. I noticed that entertainment is also on offer on several evenings a week. You can also order takeaways which is a great way to take lovely cakes etc. home. I cannot praise the Blaenau Wharf enough.
