What J doesn't like about Tweedy's:
The food here is not great. Let’s start off the fact that’s it’s NOT AUTHENTIC Jamaican food. I don’t know what kind of jerk chicken they serve.. but this isn’t it.. it’s almost like a stew. Really weird. Their oxtail is not even authentic Jamaican oxtail.. it lacked flavour and the taste is way off… Also, the people that work there aren’t very hygienic…. One of my favorite places. More of a take out spot but does have tables.
The roti is a bit hard and but jerk and curry chicken are pretty good. I like the patty the most.
Best Patties in Newmarket The main dishes are great taste and value too. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Also not washing their hands after handling cash before preparing food… Will not be coming back.
