The Works is a gourmet burger establishment. You can order unique burgers with such toppings as peanut butter or pineapple, or you can get your simple cheese and bacon burgers. They are all absolutely delicious! The sweet potatoes fries with the aioli dip is simply devine. View all feedback.

This was my second time here and both times I was a little overwhelmed by the menu and underwhelmed by the burger. Don't get me wrong it was a decent burger but I expected it to be exceptional. it was not. The kids poutine however was over the top. It was huge and the deeper they dig the more cheesy goodness inside. It was defiantly enough for 4. Stick with the Poutine. View all feedback.
My family made our first trip back to The Works Newmarket since before covid and it was just as good as we remembered! Delicious food, Great service from the owner to to servers and Moosehead on top! Who could ask for more? Definitely recommended.
The owner makes sure every customer is taken care of. Rare to see a franchise owner cleaning tables, greeting guests and taking orders. The food is always amazing and the service is fast and excellent. One of our favourite spots!
This is the worst burger restaurant I have ever been to. The customer service was terrible, and the staff had a bad attitude. When I received my takeout order, my burgers were missing toppings, as shown in the pictures. The waiter did not provide any explanation or advice when I placed my order, even though I mentioned it was my first time there. I do not recommend visiting this empty place.
Went i for lunch today. We have never been there before. I had the 80z. burger with blue cheese topping. If they had put 1/2 the dressing it would have been too much. Even wrapping it in the napkin i ended up with a handful of blue cheese slop. So much blue cheese no-one would ever be able to taste the meat. Ugghh. My wife had the Portobello mushroom with goat cheese. The goat cheese was fine, including the quantity. But they ladled a bucket of some kind of red jam on it that was all over everywhere by the time she was finished. Everything is a meal. So the price includes the fries or salad or.. whatever. And the price is high $40 for 2 burgers, including one order fries, one bottle of still water.
I have a very hard time with negative reviews for this place. Do you pay a slightly higher price for quality or do you want a frozen burger from a major meat packaging company? Raw burgers? Never have I experienced this and we go at least 2x a month and I live with someone who pretty much only eats burgers. .I love their grilled chicken and their gluten free buns. Nice beer selection too.
