Everything was fantastic! The strawberry rhubarb pie was the best I've ever had. I ordered the pot roast, which was tender and flavorful. The biscuits were a delightful surprise! The waitstaff were attentive and helpful, making our experience even better. I wanted to take some of Louise's cake home, but she wouldn’t come with me! We will definitely be returning! We waited 45 minutes for breakfast…basically eggs hash browns. Food wasn’t hot…the order wasn’t even correct when it finally came out. This is an interesting place that receives high praise. They don’t serve alcoholic beverages, so don’t expect to find cold beer here. I would definitely return when I'm back in the area.
My friend and I ordered the grilled mountain trout, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. The mac and cheese was fantastic, and the roasted okra was excellent as well. The hush puppies paired with the house's unique tartar sauce were a real treat. Our waitress was delightful and did a wonderful job. We accidentally drove around the entire parking lot of Blue Grat looking for lunch, but we're so glad we made it here. We will definitely be back!

Cute little spot less than a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Good food and service. Entrees come with 2 sides (many options) and a roll. My husband had pot roast, which he said was some of the best he ever had. I got fried chicken strips, which were typical but good. We shared homemade apple pie (delicious) ala mode. $32 including tax.
