This is a restaurant you MUST visit. Noodles are hand-made and authentic. It’s better than Xian famous foods in NYC. Prices increased but still affordable. Their bao is home-made. Also taste is very good. View all feedback.
What Alan Thames doesn't like about Xian Noodle Factory:
I was disappointed to find out that the restaurant had increased their prices by 50% from what was listed on their online menu. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and fried dumplings, which ended up costing me over $28 without including tips. While the taste was good, I found it difficult to justify the high price. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and fried dumplings, which ended up costing me over $28 without including tips. While the taste was good, I found it difficult to justify the high price. I visited the restaurant around 6 pm on a Friday evening and noticed that there were no other customers dining in or taking out. There were only three dine-in tables available. Overall, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.
I recently discovered the best hidden gem ever - this restaurant is a must-visit! If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go. The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. I highly recommend making this your top choice for Chinese food.
This restaurant is a hidden gem despite its dive-like appearance. I have been a fan of Xian cuisine since they were in West Hartford. It is the only place in Connecticut that rivals the noodle shops I frequented in NYC. The quality of the noodles is exceptional and the soups are flavorful and well-balanced. I absolutely adore this place and wish it was open more days. I would suggest getting takeout as the new location is much smaller than their previous one in West Hartford, but the food is definitely worth it!
I can’t speak to authenticity, or comparisons to other places, but my family thoroughly enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and noodles, beef with noodles, and bao. Trying to get the very long (2’ or so) noodles out of the bowls with only chopsticks was challenging and fun. We’ll certainly be back, but it’s much too close to be safe. We’ll probably be back here multiple times per month. As far as ‘dine-in’ is concerned, they only have three small tables outside, and only four chairs.
