Nestled by the river, the Oiler Bar offers a unique escape with stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere. Guests appreciate the friendly service and enjoyable beer selection, though some find prices steep, particularly for wine. The food, while variable, features tasty pizzas, though caution is advised with items like the Italian nachos. The bar's charm is enhanced by its quaint boat setting, perfect for watching passing planes and wakeboarders. Despite minor grievances over music volume and drinkware, the overall experience is delightful, making it a recommended stop for visitors and locals alike, especially on sunny days.
This restaurant is a fantastic location on the waterfront for drinks and food. The views are wonderful and the music selection is top-notch. Give it a try - you won't be let down.
Had been looking forward to a trip to the Oiler Bar all evening. So disappointed to arrive dead on closing time, after waiting 15 minutes for the bill at the nearby Thai restaurant and be refused service. One might have considered a little compromise considering the circumstances. But hey, we had a nice beer and friendly service at the Heroica Lounge bus. Service with a genuine smile is always nice.
I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at this bar, and we were fortunate enough to find a seat on a warm Saturday afternoon. It was wonderful to sit and watch the airplanes flying overhead from City airport, as well as the wakeboarders. We decided to order a pizza from the small kitchen on site, which was a bit pricey but very tasty. There's a unique little bar downstairs where the restrooms are located.
Best place to relax in east London, great beers and pizza and also 5 star staff. Really recommend!
Amazing place. Perfect customer service. Pizzas are very very tasty, definitely recommend. Good views and place to chill. Once again, perfect pizzas.
