We pulled off at Bassano to see if we could get a snack. The Roadside Grill was right there beside the highway. My wife and I shared a wrap, and I had the side (delicious beef barley soup) A nice place to stop. A wide number of items on the menu at a reasonable cost. View all feedback.
What T E doesn't like about Rosie's Roadside Grill:
I had a three-egg omelette with onions, cheese sausage, and bacon. The shredded hashbrowns tasted freshly made, not frozen, and the fruit cup was also fresh, not from a pre-packaged container. Excellent food and prompt, friendly service with a smile. Huge portions but I took my leftovers home so I can have a great lunch tomorrow.

I was traveling on the road and needed a caffeine boost, so I stopped at a roadside Grill to fill up my thermos with coffee. A regular cup of coffee was $2.50, but a full thermos for $5 was a great deal compared to specialty beverages at high-end coffee shops. The Grill is conveniently located along the highway, making it a perfect spot for a quick pit stop during a road trip. The coffee was surprisingly good, and the friendly woman who served me had a warm smile. Overall, a satisfying experience.
Grabbed takeout passing through town. Never again. Burger meat was over cooked, buns were soggy, lettuce was wilted, fries were rock hard and gravy was like jello. Paid for two poutines and received only one. Our bill was 70 dollars for 2 dripping burgers, 2 mediocre sandwiches and a pile of tasteless cardboard fries. Keep driving.
Very good family and truckers restaurant, love their burgers and soups. Always lots of food. We will come back
