We visited it a few times, and it was a delightful experience. The beer garden in the back was fantastic, and the beer was wonderful. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. It's a spacious country pub with a great atmosphere.

We always make it a point to dine here whenever we visit.

We had an absolutely superb meal... read more A very well received voucher from a close friend of my partners was a lovely spent afternoon at the Pointer. Booking is a must. We had an absolutely superb meal and a good dessert in a warm and comfortable setting. We were well looked after and would highly recommend anybody pay a visit. COVID measures in effect and hand sanitiser available. Take the time to immerse yourself in a bit of history and visit the nearby church, one of the oldest in the country.

Cauliflo... read more Sunday dinner, choice of 3 meats, lamb, pork, beef, chose all 3. Cooked to perfection. Humongous Yorkshire pudding very tasty. Roasties, mash, parsnip. Cauliflower, brocoli and carrots, pleased to say no sprouts, personal preference but why would anyone eat sprouts! Wife had apple and blueberry crumble and custard. Beautiful cooked. Full marks for presentation, staff very attentive and friendly, also dog friendly. Decent selection of drinks. Well worth a visit, recommend booking.
