I visited a trendy new cafe with great potential for popularity. My friend found her short black coffee to be lacking in intensity, but I enjoyed a delicious batch brew which was perfect for a milder start to the day. The menu features some intriguing new items, so I plan on returning to try them out. It seems like the cafe is trying to introduce some trendy new slang terms, which adds to its appeal. Went searching for some specialty coffee in Newcastle and very glad to have tried New Slang. The batch brew was delicious and smooth, enough for me to come back for the cold brew the next day. Best cold brew I’ve tried. Highly recommend! Awesome croissants too.
My favourite coffee in Newcastle. The batch brews they make here are the best way to start a day. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and as genuine as it gets. Absolute legends.

Great selection of beans for coffee lovers (snobs) like me! Small selection of well executed toasties, pastries and pies etc. Delicious and the staff really, really know their coffee
