Clean cooking oil, firm chip on the outside and... read more Don't be fooled by the cover. The ladies on staff were very friendly and the hot chips and gravy were excellent. Clean cooking oil, firm chip on the outside and soft on the inside. Cooked to perfection. Gravy was very tasty, nice and think and not salty. Down side was I should have asked for a bigger serve. My partner and I finished them too quickly.

The staff are ver... read more As said before, first impressions aren't too favourable, but this Newcastle institution is the home to the tastiest burgers I have ever eaten. The staff are very friendly and I enjoyed a romantic dinner with hubby. Wish they would open in Maitland, so we could enjoy this delight more frequently. Once tried, you'll be back again and again!
