Platter was... read more Waitress highlighted the Sunday deal which was a platter with bottle of wine for $50. Given the bottle was usually $40, this was exceptional value. Platter was fine for two, plenty without being filling.Service very friendly and attentive - not sure what venue other reviewers were at ! Lovely atmosphere - eclectic furniture with fresh flowers. A reasonable number of patrons sitting throughout the venue (which isn't really Petite despite the name) so everyone had a bit of privacy. Highly recommend for a quiet Sunday drink

We were so excited to dine here as we had heard great things about this venue.... read more My partner and I booked to have dinner at bar petite on the 20th July at 8:00pm. We were so excited to dine here as we had heard great things about this venue. On arrival we were 'pointed' to our table, shortly after followed up by our waitress to be told that none of the specials displayed to us on our menu were available (could have easily been taken off the clip board of other menu pages to avoid any disappointment). Our waitress then took our order of wine and 3 small share plates. The wine arrived which we poured ourselves. As the waitress delivered our first shared plate she asked how our wine was? As I was replying to her and looked up she had already disappeared behind the bar and was looking at her phone??? Obviously didn't give a hoot about her previous question about the wine?Sooo after sitting there looking at our first share plate wondering if the other meals we ordered were ever going to arrive we decided to start as I was about to eat the table. After 15 minutes our second share plate finally arrived....such a shame....we had ordered baked Brie which must have been put in the oven at lunchtime, it looked like a floppy bit of jacket curd that had zero resemblance or taste to a respectable piece of cheese with 4 pieces of lavosh to soak it up. But wait... after another 15 minutes our third small share plate arrived....it wasn't even what we ordered!!! We ordered king prawns and out came pork belly??? Our waitress then persisted that we eat it as she had put the wrong meal through and that it was only going to be thrown out, this did not sit well with my vegetarian partner so we finished our wine and left.

So we ordered a glass of white wine. Which was ok ! But they had the Aircondition on far too hot soDecided to leave , sad it's a nice place for a catch up with friends .

The atmosphere, music, and food were all fantastic, and we never had to wait long for a drink. My friends and I will definitely be returning next year. Excellent, friendly staff as well. Well done!
