Bao Brothers Charlestown is a fantastic place for dinner. The atmosphere, food, and staff are all exceptional. Jordy took great care of my partner and me. We were very impressed by the service and will definitely be coming back. The Notorious PIG bao bun was a standout, with the Tupac Chickr coming in a close second. Be sure to also try the KFC (Cauliflower) and house sodas, they are delicious! View all feedback.
What Crown Lifter doesn't like about After Dark:
Should be renamed Before Dark . We arrived before 9:30pm and were told they would not serve us as they were closing early due to a quiet night . Don 't pretend to be a reliable and popular late night venue just by writing till late on your website... View all feedback.
Amazing art of cuisine! I love Bao-Brot (typical for Chinese/Asian meatballs) and burger, so it is the best of both worlds.
Wow! Best Bao I've ever had. Wonderful flavours, soft fluffy pillow of a bao bun, fresh and delicious. The loaded sweet potato fries are delish too. Thank you for the orgasm guys!
Great food. Quality ingredients, lots of variety for all diet types. Will be back again for sure and will bring the whole family
Everything is **** delicious!!! And the cocktail menu is . Do yourself a favour and try the Thai Lady Oh and the honey prawn bao
The service was great, however, we left disappointed and hungry. There are limited vegetarian pescatarian options and the portion sizes are very small for the price. We went hoping for a classic Bao Brothers bao bun and ordered the $8 bun off the specials' menu, which you can see pictured. $8 for ONE prawn is pretty ridiculous! We spent $80 for two, which would have been fine if we hadn't left so hungry. To top it off, when we got up to pay we were told there is a 1.5% surcharge on all debit card payments. This isn't stated anywhere on the menu so it left us quite bitter after an already disappointing experience.
