Contribute FeedbackYummy Cottage has emerged as a beloved dining destination, particularly amongst local vegans who praise its extensive menu. The restaurant offers a wide variety of generously portioned vegan dishes, such as the renowned vegan duck and other flavorsome options that have earned the affection of both vegans and non-vegans alike. While some diners noted that the food can be quite salty and oily, the overall experience remains positive, with delicious offerings like chikn and sweetcorn soup and crispy seaweed delighting patrons. With quick delivery and reasonable prices, Yummy Cottage is a must-visit for anyone craving hearty, plant-based cuisine.
Highly recommended by my vegan friends, I finally had the chance to visit this restaurant and I must say, it was a fantastic decision. The vegan menu is truly spectacular. I spent the evening before browsing through the menu and even made a note on my phone to save time when I arrived. The chikn and sweetcorn soup was delicious, and both the chikn in mushrooms and tofu szechuan mains were excellent. The complimentary vegan roasted rice with roasted chikn was a great bonus that should not be missed. The portion sizes were generous, leaving enough for leftovers the next day. Just a heads up, make sure to bring cash or order and pay online.
I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always had a positive experience with their vegan options. However, during my most recent visit, I ordered the vegan duck but was instead served real duck. It was disappointing as I had enjoyed this dish in the past. Despite this mistake, the portions are generous and there is a wide selection of options for both vegans and non-vegans. The vegan duck is a personal favorite of mine and even my non-vegan friends enjoy it. Overall, a great dining spot with something for everyone.
The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of vegan options, all clearly labeled on the menu. The delivery was quick, and the prices were reasonable. The portions were large and the food was delicious. While the salt and chili chips were not the best I've had, the spring rolls and Vermicelli peel were fantastic.
Our visit to the yummy cottage was very good. we ordered the vegan black bean chicken with boiled rice and tofu curry with vegan crispy noodles. eating was absolutely delicious and tasteful, with the texture of the chicken and tofu perfect. also to order crispy noodles, was such a tasty bite. I just wish I had lived closer so I could visit more often.
We ordered quite a lot but it fed us for 2 days! Enjoyed the sweetcorn soup and crspy seaweed v much. Salt n chilli tofu didn’t taste of anything though. Spent just over £30 so got free mini spring rolls (if you spend over £20 the freebie is prawn crackers obvs no good unless you have a family member who eats that sort of thing).
