Very let down with our recent visit, as we had hoped the pub would have lived up to our expectations. Firstly, when we entered, I thought a local drain had broken, as the smell inside was terrible. It actually smelt like raw sewage. The toilets were swimming, and this was just an afternoon. Sadly the beer was also a let down, as I had to return my flat pint. Drinks before the match great selection of cask great atmosphere
Thursday afternoon so quite quiet ,but good pint, have been going for years.
Just popped in for a quick pint, friendly ordinary pub with friendly sevice and good pint..think there is a pool table or something upstairs as students were coming in,getting change and going up there.
It's lovely place with great service and atmosphere. You can also try their toasties while there.
